CFO – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER / CONTROLLER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for daily accounts payable and accounts receivable. Generate and distribute monthly financial statements for all client communities. Coordinate all corporate accounting to include staff and community payroll plus benefits. Coordinate transition efforts for new communities. Lead efforts to bring new technology to the clients.
POSITION DUTIES:
1. Receive invoices and process for approval through AvidXchange portal.
2. Monitor Vantaca/AvidXchange integration and approval processes.
3. Process paid invoices daily.
4. Monitor daily lockbox deposits from Alliance Bank integration.
5. Monitor and train Ai virtual assistant through StanAi integration.
6. Ensure application of all charges to all accounts (first of each month)
7. Maintain unit owner accounts and files.
8. Pay quarterly taxes by voucher per Auditors instructions.
9. Ensure payment of all personal property taxes for business equipment.
10. Track expenses by association and compare to invoices.
11. Arrange and facilitate annual audits for all client communities.
12. Meet with client Boards of Directors, Finance Committees, or other executive organs on budgeting, accounting, and other financial matters.
13. Assist the Community Managers with the preparation of an annual operating budget for each client community.
14. Arrange monthly reserve transfers for client communities.
15. Respond to inquiries from unit owners, contractors/vendors, and others as needed.
16. Process request for resale disclosure packages, questionnaires and statements of account through Homewise Docs.
17. Other duties as may be assigned and other special projects that may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Certified Public Accountant or candidate.
2. Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field; Masters preferred
3. Friendly, customer service oriented attitude
4. Professional demeanor.
5. Team player with ability to lead.
6. Technologically savvy with an affinity for innovation and efficiency.
COMPENSATION:
1. Salary depends on experience
