Virginia Outdoor Power Equipment is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Assembly Technician. You will play an integral role in our team’s overall success and ensure the smooth operation of our Sales and Service department.
Responsibilities for Assembly Technician –
Assemble new equipment
Support Sales staff in assembling sold equipment
Support Service Department
Supervise custodial tasks
Organize shop and all outlying areas
Operate forklift (training provided)
Load and unload tractor trailers
Deliver equipment (must have valid Driver’s License)
Skills and Qualifications for Assembly Technician –
Possess a valid Driver’s License.
Mechanical aptitude: ability to understand how products function and assemble parts correctly.
Attention to detail: ensuring accurate assembly with precision and quality control.
Physical stamina: ability to lift and maneuver heavy items throughout the workday.
Basic hand tool proficiency.
Ability to read and follow instructions.
