Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled and practical Automotive Parts and Upholstery Technician to join our team. This full-time, hourly position involves the hands-on aspects of auto upholstery work, such as disassembling vehicle interiors, removing old upholstery, and reassembling components after the seamstress has completed the new upholstery. The role requires strong manual skills, familiarity with tools, and attention to detail and craftsmanship rather than expertise in sewing. As you demonstrate capability and commitment, there is potential for growth into additional responsibilities and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
Disassembly: Carefully disassemble vehicle interiors, including removing seats, panels, and other components to access and replace upholstery.
Upholstery Removal: Remove old upholstery and associated materials from vehicle components with precision to ensure a clean and effective replacement.
Component Handling: Transport removed upholstery components to the seamstress for new upholstery work, ensuring they are handled with care.
Reassembly: Reassemble vehicle interiors after new upholstery has been completed, including stapling, fastening, and ensuring components fit correctly.
Inspection: Inspect components and completed work to ensure all parts are correctly installed and meet quality standards.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in disassembly and reassembly, ensuring they are in good working order.
Workspace Organization: Keep the workspace organized and safe, including managing the storage of vehicle parts and upholstery materials.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the disassembly or reassembly process, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Collaboration: Work closely with the seamstress and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
Efficiency: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and maintain productivity throughout the workday.
Requirements:
