Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable to join our team as a Delivery Assistant. As a Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting mattresses and related items to customers. This is a vital role in our company, as you will be the face of our organization when interacting with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely assist the delivery driver to transport goods to customer locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of local delivery area
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as required
- Familiarity with GPS is preferred.
