We are seeking enthusiastic Event Staff to assist with the setup, breakdown, and execution of events at our beautiful waterfront venue on the Anacostia River. Responsibilities:
Assist with setting up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and linens.
Dismantle event setups post-event, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and the venue is returned to its original condition.
Provide excellent customer service to guests, answering questions and assisting with their needs during events.
Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure compliance with venue policies and local regulations.
Collaborate with the Event Coordinator and other staff members to ensure smooth event execution.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Strong verbal communication skills and a customer service focus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A collaborative spirit and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
