We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience operating various types of excavators and a strong understanding of site safety protocols. (an onsite try-out will be conducted). You will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Perform pre-operation checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Work collaboratively with team members and site supervisors to meet project goals.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate site operations.
Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening, and background check.
Report deficiencies to foreman/super visor immediately.
Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects and be able to lift 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of means and measures techniques when performing demolition inclusive of safety practices.
- Ability to operate different sizes of excavators and certain attachments such as thumb & bucket, pulverizer, shears, hydraulic breaker, and others demolition and scrap metal related attachments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
- Ability to operate different types of equipment is a plus. roller, compactor, dozer, skid steer, etc.
