We are a property management company located in Tyson’s Corner in search of a full-time Groundskeeper/Janitor available immediately. We own/manage commercial office, retail, and residential properties in Prince William, Fairfax, and Loudoun Counties.
Daily Responsibilities:
Arriving at our office in Tyson's Corner at 7am and clocking out at 3:30pm
Driving company truck to our different properties
General cleaning and housekeeping of indoor and outdoor common areas, including servicing restrooms, hallways, lobby, and parking lot/grounds
Depending on the time of year and/or needs, other duties include:
Treat/clean parking lots and sidewalks during snow/ice
Landscaping duties (cut grass, spread fertilizer, mulch)
Changing air filters of HVAC units
Other maintenance depending on skill level (drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License Required with clean driving record
Personal Vehicle to get to our office (company vehicle provided to travel to various properties from our office)
Clean background check with no criminal record
Janitorial/cleaning experience required.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must speak English - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Ability to work outside year-round and be in good health
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to work independently and as a team and take direction along with being self-motivated and having strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and assist with general building/property maintenance and construction.
Compensation:
Starting pay at $18-22 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Paid vacation and sick leave
Company paid holidays
Optional Group Medical Coverage (50/50 shared with company)
