Jared Next Day Landscape is seeking a skilled and motivated Hardscape & Landscape Technician to join our fast-growing team. If you’re passionate about creating stunning outdoor environments and enjoy hands-on work in the fresh air, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.
As a technician, you’ll be at the forefront of enhancing residential and commercial properties through expert landscaping and hardscape craftsmanship. You'll be working alongside seasoned professionals in a supportive, high-quality, and safety-driven environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Install and maintain hardscape features: pavers, retaining walls, stone borders, walkways, patios
- Perform routine landscaping: mowing, trimming, weed control, seasonal cleanups, gutter clearing
- Assist with planting and bed maintenance: flowers, shrubs, trees, mulch and soil application
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment: trimmers, blowers, mowers, compactors
- Collaborate with crew leaders and peers to complete daily work orders and larger projects
- Maintain excellent safety practices and job site cleanliness
- Monitor plant and turf health, applying irrigation techniques and basic care strategies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in hardscape or landscape maintenance
- Proficiency operating landscaping equipment and tools is required
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and service power tools and machinery is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
