TSP Contracting is seeking Mitigation Technicians to join our team. We are a full-service restoration company located in Fairfax, VA that provides residential and commercial services to our customers in the DMV areas.
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced mitigation technicians. Applicants who enjoy helping others, take pride in their work, and take ownership of their career will thrive in our company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Water damage - extraction, drying, moisture readings, working knowledge of IR cameras, content manipulation, etc.
Fire damage - board up, containment, soot and odor cleaning, pack out, etc.
Contents - content manipulation, cleaning, etc.
Inspect, evaluate, pictures and or video recording, and accurate and timely documentation on all jobs
Requirements for position:
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV Record
Must be able to pass a background check and random drug testing
Must have dependable transportation
Strong communication skills, bilingual
Must be 21+ years old
Must be able to work long hours (night, weekends, and on call rotation) as needed
Ability to work well with others & follow directions
Ability to lift a minimum of 50+ lbs. safely
High school diploma or GED
Candidates should have:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Background in restoration/construction a plus
Positive attitude
Attention to detail
Essential problem-solving skills
Technical savvy with apps and computer programs
Desire to learn
