Donoso & Partners, LLC is a nationally recognized immigration law firm located in Bethesda MD. We are seeking a full-time immigration attorney to work in business immigration cases such as E-2, L-1A, H-1B, TN, PERM, EB-5 direct investments and regional center investments; EB-1A and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. We are looking for an experienced self-motivated lawyer to fill a full-time position.
The position requires a JD degree and membership in a state bar. The ability to speak and write Spanish or Chinese is helpful.

Responsibilities
· Work collaboratively on projects with lawyers and legal assistants related to immigration law work.
· Handle direct communications with clients, USCIS and Consular Posts.
· Locate and develop case relevant information, and develop and communicate case analysis and strategies to clients.
· Provide direction and supervision to legal assistants to prepare and file visa documents, waivers and similar immigration legal documents and correspondence
· Answer phone calls and hold client meetings in-person or through Zoom or other media.
· Maintain track of open and pending matters and update clients regularly on case progress.
· Analyze requests for evidence and similar USCIS or Government Correspondence; develop a response strategy and prepare and complete response filings on a timely basis.
· Monitor deadlines and maintain a timely calendar internally and with clients.
