Law Counsel is recruiting attorneys/paralegals to work on an a hybrid assignment with the Business Services group of a large DC law firm.
The work entails checking/screening conflicts and drafting engagement agreements for new hires and clients of the firm. This is not a document review project. The work is detailed oriented and can be administrative in nature. Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills are needed.
Attorneys and experienced paralegals are welcome to apply. A law degree/license however is not required.
The hourly rate is $32.00 per hour and 1.5 for OT. Hours are 40 per week on a Monday thru Friday to start for the first 1-2 month training period but after that OT is approved to 50 hours and a hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote and a Monday thru Sunday schedule will be available. During the one to two month training period candidates must be onsite 5 days per week.
The expected duration is 8 months, through to June 30, 2025 and possibly longer and candidates must be comfortable making this long term commitment.
This is a hybrid position which requires working ONSITE for 3 days at the law firm located in Washington, DC and 2 days remotely. Candidates must be onsite 5 days per week during the 1-2 month initial training period.
The start is sometime the week of November 18, 2024.
