We're an Art Installation company seeking experienced contractors/freelancers to hang art in client homes and at commercial properties. Things that you may install are: framed art, canvas prints, macramé art, metal prints, sculptures, mirrors, wall tiles, curtain rods, etc. Must be comfortable installing in stairwells, two-story areas, installing on different surfaces, and can follow an art plan.
Hours are irregular, but will only fall between these hours, M-F, 9 am - 5:30 pm. If your schedule is limited, i.e. you can only work between 10 am - 4 pm, Tues-Fri, still apply!
Occasionally you'll be tasked with
- adding hardware to the back of pieces
- mounting irregular/specialty pieces on walls, e.g an instrument on a brick wall
- picking up art and installing at a different location
- de-install art
- grabbing specialty hardware from a hardware store nearby your appt
❌ We don't mount tv's or anything that requires hardwiring
Seeking installers in the Northern VA, DC Metro, and Baltimore Metro Areas
Preference given to those
- with at least a year experience in hanging art or general installation
- with a background in art and/or design
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience in wall mounting
- Must drive and be punctual
- Be comfortable climbing a ladder and using a drill
- Have a ladder, stud finder, leveler, and basic tools to take to appointments
- Live in the DC Metro area and comfortable with driving up to 30 miles for jobs
