GRAPHICS DESIGNER / CUSTOMER SERVICE: REPRESENTATIVE

Want to push your graphic design skills to the next level? We are a fast-paced Print and Marketing Center that works with business customers designing everything from Business Cards, post cards, flyers, Pop up banners stands, convention/trade show back drops, vehicle graphics and wall murals, to name a few items we produce.

The Graphics Designer / Customer Service Representative (CSR) works directly with customers, either on the phone or in person. They handle phone orders and inquiries. This position will also run jobs on the high-speed copiers and large format printers. Their main job function is to work with customers to understand and satisfy their printing, copying and other graphic-related needs.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience in sales or customer service and/or experience in printing or graphic arts industries.

Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.

Good math skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements and apply Adobe tools to create and design the artwork required.

Strong attention to details, possessing a sales aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems.

Must have at least 2 years of Adobe Creative Suite hands-on experience (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PDF). Canva experience will be a plus.

Must be computer literate and current on new technology.

Must be hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.

Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.

Exceptional phone and customer service skills.

Positive and upbeat attitude.

Meet or exceed minimum test results as specified by the Hiring Manager.

Ability to move freely throughout the building to gather information, materials and authorizations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and create artwork based on customers’ requirements:

1. Help explain our services to customers through arts and creative items.

2. Work closely with customers to identify their requirements. Assist them with design ideas.

3. Handling cash and credit sales.

4. Answer phones promptly.

5. Phone Sales with assigned Customer List.

6. Run jobs on the high-speed copier.

7. Call customers as orders are ready.

8. File customer artwork.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Paste-up customer orders for camera-ready art.

2. Bindery as needed.

3. Able to learn and apply the point of sales system and perform estimate and invoicing.
