Unique opportunity with thriving pottery business to assist with all steps in our process:
No pottery experience required - we'll train you. But - You must love working with your hands, and have the stamina to work standing up, occasionally lift 25 pounds (a bag of clay).
You're the kind of upbeat person who responds well to training, and would prefer a small team, low-stress, friendly workplace. We seek someone who loves making things: painting, drawing, cookies, cakes, sewing, crocheting, knitting and scrapbooking etc.
Pottery experience is not needed, but could be helpful (We do not throw). Our process is all handbuilding.

We can, however, offer you flexible hours -we are that ideal situation if you have family, child care or other issues that require an understanding boss and the flexibility to leave at a moment's notice.
To apply, please send resume, work history and a picture of something you’ve made by hand. (If the picture is not available, then tell us about your hobbies and related).
Us - We’re highly unusual. We are a studio whose handmade ceramic products are purchased by stores throughout the USA including museum shops, craft galleries, fine art galleries, gift boutiques, airport shops, and resorts & spas.
Our work environment is congenial and supportive; we work as a team and are all cross-trained. Our founder, Lorraine Oerth created this workshop as an aterlier studio in the classical tradition - and the business was founded in the 1970's.
Starting hourly rate $18 – 20/hour.
