Fairfax Woodworking, Inc is a Chantilly VA based Architectural Woodworking company, currently searching for a CNC operator/ Programmer with experience in woodworking/fabrication. Performs at a high level of craftsmanship with a strong work ethic and resourcefulness.
We are willing to build the skills of someone with a strong CNC Programming background and desire to learn.
POSITION DUTIES
Proficient in CNC operating, programming, nesting, scaling, tooling, modifying cut files in CAD CAM
Go from model space into CNC layout into programming and outputting G Code
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product specifications
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
1-2 years CNC Programming experience
1-2 years CNC Operator experience
1-2 years hands-on experience with fabrication in various materials
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills in CNC Programming Machining. Experience with CAD software, milling machines, and Programming is required. Our shop is currently utilizing Moziak and has a HolzHer router, experience with either is a huge plus
