Little Sesame Operations Coordinator

The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company. This individual will assist the Operations team in ensuring smooth execution of supply chain activities, inventory management, vendor coordination, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the operations team, including generating documents, preparing reports, and maintaining records.

- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels, monitoring stock, and updating inventory management systems.

- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging supplies.

- Order Processing: Support order fulfillment by coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and retailers.

- Data Entry and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operational data, including purchase orders, inventory reports, and shipment logs.

- Logistics Coordination: Assist in managing inbound and outbound shipments, including working with third-party logistics providers to resolve any shipping issues.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation for operations, including regulatory compliance, is properly maintained and up to date.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related field preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or administrative roles, ideally within the CPG industry.

- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP (Netsuite) or inventory management systems is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

- Knowledge or interest in the food industry
