Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Pressman to operate and maintain our printing presses. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Operate and maintain various printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
-Set up and adjust press for production runs.
-Monitor print quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high standards.
-Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and printing issues.
-Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of presses.
-Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer specifications.
-Keep accurate records of production runs, maintenance, and quality checks.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in printing technology is a plus.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience operating printing presses.
-Strong understanding of printing processes, color theory, and press operation.
-Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and technical manuals.
-Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
-Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
