The company, Wholesale Botanics, is a small business that moved from the Portland area to Maryland in early June of this year. We were fortunate to have three of our employees move across the country to our new location but we still had four new positions we needed to fill. After filling those positions, our company has continued to grow so we intend to hire another 2 candidates using this job post.
We strive to import and distribute only the best quality ingredients (primarily essential oils) for our customers to use and are looking to hire a positive and hardworking team member for our new location. We will be at a temporary location in Annapolis Junction until January 15th, 2025, at which point we will move to our permanent location in Beltsville.
Hourly pay: $15.50 - $18.50 depending on experience and responsibilities.
Monday - Friday
7:00am - 3:00pm
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Using a hand pump to fill bottles with essential oils
- Packing shipments
- Moving boxes weighing up to 25lbs
Preferred skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient warehouse layout
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center strongly preferred
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and warehouse management systems
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including load/unload techniques
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, invoices, and safety guidelines
