Member Services Representative – Part-Time
Want to work with an advocacy organization that directly benefits members of the military? Our client in Arlington, VA is seeking a Member Services Representative to professionally represent their organization to members and future members. This is a Part-Time position to cover a maternity leave for 12-16 weeks. The successful candidate will be passionate and highly motivated to manage all phases of customer service to members, including answering e-mails and telephone inquiries relating to prospective and existing members and overseeing all communications with members.
Duties will include onboarding new members with follow-up telephone calls, e-mail messages and/or mailings; contacting members and prospects to update records; and responding to members’ concerns via telephone, e-mail, and in writing. Will also contact past-due members regarding potential expiration of membership; process member payments, and help processing annual reports.
This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days per week in the office and the other days working remotely. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service experience, a professional approach and strong attention to detail. Strong working knowledge of MS Office is needed and knowledge of Salesforce is preferred. At least 1 year of experience working in member relations is required.
Coverage for this part-time maternity leave position should last 12-16 weeks.
