Chiropractic Front Desk Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant

Looking for a warm, friendly, and welcoming person with excellent customer service and effective communication skills, who is comfortable working independently, as well as in a team environment in a busy Chiropractic/Physical Therapy office. Excellent computer skills are needed, as well as the ability to multi-task, such as answering phones, greeting and registering patients, and maintaining a positive work environment. Bilingual in Korean/English and/or Spanish/English will have preference but not mandatory.

Responsibilities for Receptionist:

Open office: turn on machines and other equipment, unlock doors - depending on shift worked.

Close office: turn off machines and other equipment, lock doors - depending on shift worked.

Throughout shift, clean/organize/straighten out waiting area.

Answer incoming telephone calls, handle, take detailed message and/or distribute appropriately.

Greet patients, check-in and/or check-out.

Obtain complete and accurate demographic/insurance information from patient/guardian.

Verify insurance via internet or telephone

Ensure information is complete and all forms are dated and signed.

Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments on EMR

Collect co-payment and patient payments for past due balances.

Explain patient balances and insurance coverage.

Maintain an organized and clean work area.

Perform and complete all additional and related duties as assigned by supervisor, business manager and/or provider.

Responsibilities for Assistant:

Teaching exercises(we will train you)

Putting patients on therapies(Electric stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, spinal decompression, shockwave, and more)

Assisting and Bringing patients in and out of rooms for therapy

Sanitizing therapy/treatment tables in between patients

Explaining therapy to patients as needed

Throughout shift, clean/organize/straighten out therapy rooms/treatment rooms

Perform and complete all additional and related duties as assigned by supervisor, business manager and/or doctor.

Requirements:

Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance.

Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

The following hours are available:

Mondays: 2:15PM - 7:00PM

Wednesdays: 2:15PM - 7:00PM

Thursdays: 2:15PM - 7:00PM

Fridays: 2:15PM - 7:00PM

Saturdays: 8:45AM - 1:00PM
