Demolition Estimator/Project Manager/Engineer
We are in search of a highly motivated and qualified Construction Estimator with a minimum of at least 2-5 years of experience in estimating, bidding and proposal writing various size construction projects. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare scope specifications and requirements, prepare and input project schedules, perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost summary sheets, and input quantities into estimating software.
Maintain an accurate, current database cost codes of accounts for historical data.
Set up and assemble work teams, make assignments, and solicit vendors.
Develop and review subcontractor's scopes of work and accept, review, and analyze subcontractor's quotes for best value. Foster relationships with Subcontractors, Vendors, and Suppliers.
Deliver preconstruction services (constructability review, system analysis, value management, etc.)
Prepare detailed and accurate material, quantity take off, labor, equipment, subcontracts, construction facilities, etc. Ability to utilize BIM for quantity take-offs.
Thoroughly review all take-off and pricing, specifically self-performed work.
Present cost estimates to senior management to meet customer proposals, providing consideration for general and special conditions.
Lead review of tab sheets and budget with the Project Director, Operations Manager, and Chief Estimator.
Review all tab sheets prior to the bid date.
Assist Project Director in negotiating subcontracts and purchasing all major aspects of the project.
Assist in estimating job cost budget and turnover or transition meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree- Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent 2-5years of estimating experience
Advanced project estimator skills that include performing engineering calculations, and effective communication with Application Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering, and Vendors.
Build and maintain relationships when attending pre-bids, site conferences, etc.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Asbestos Certification (Preferred)
Driver's license (Required)
Contractor's License (Preferred)
Bilingual (Preferred)

Pay Range: $75,000.00 to $85,000 per year or DOE
Work at the office in Potomac, MD 5 days a week
