We are a home based business celebrating our 36th year. You would be working in a two-person office in the North Potomac area (20878 zip code) of Montgomery County. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Montgomery County resident who DOES NOT REQUIRE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS - although we DO OFFER PAID VACATION and several PAID HOLIDAYS.

We're a year-around business, working collaboratively with all our residential and commercial clients to provide gardening solutions in all areas of landscaping, including maintenance, construction and design.

In our industry, good, experienced Office Administrators typically earn $45,000 - $57,000 per year, and we would hope that you would deserve that kind of wage within a few years, once you have learned the ropes. EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school or equivalent

DESIRED: Bachelor's degree in Bus. Admin., Accounting, Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant/Soil Science, Env. Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Arch.

REQUIRED:

Good keyboarding accuracy and speed - min. 35 WPM in a keyboarding test that we will administer

Terrific personality and a great sunny disposition

A caring personality with an "how can I help you" attitude

Good written and verbal communication skills, incl. spelling and grammar.

Fluent in English with little or no accent

Five years of verifiable office experience in D.C. area

Has own transportation to and from work

Can show two recent pay stubs from current/recent employer

Lives in Montgomery County

DESIRED:

Strong Excel ability (know how to work with formulas, filters and pivot tables)

Constant Contact experience

Quick Books experience

SEO/SEM experience

Strong and verifiable background of Human Resources, Payroll, Job Costing, Budgeting, Accounts Receivable/Payable, GL/accounting & IT.
