My wife is recovering from a major surgery and is limited in her activity level and tasks that utilize arm, shoulder, and neck muscles. She is 15 months from surgery but it’s a slow recovery to build back the strength, therefore assisting around the home and computer tasks would be extremely helpful. She also needs rides to/from medical appointments and other errands. No medical skills are required. Tasks might include:
- help with computer-related tasks for healthcare management
- errands and rides to appointments, vehicle provided
- help around the home
Requirements:
- proficient with computers, email, Google Drive, & Chrome
- comfortable using a Mac
- comfortable with dogs (we have a Labrador Retriever)
- no perfumes, colognes or strong scented products
- Driver's License
- no tobacco smoking
We are flexible on the hours and days but would require a minimum of 5 hours /week during business hours. Potential for up to 15 hours/week. $20/hr and we are willing to assist with transportation.
A little bit about the employer: my wife and I have master’s degrees (she: Human-Computer Interaction, he: MBA), experience mentoring younger colleagues, and a combined 10+ years working in technology roles in the San Francisco Bay Area. We're both originally from Michigan and spend most weekends hiking and exploring the area with their chocolate lab, Zetty.
