Mahwy Cars Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Tag and Title Clerk/Assistant Manager. This dual-role position combines responsibilities for handling vehicle title and registration tasks with assisting the management team in daily operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of automotive documentation processes, and the ability to contribute to the efficient operation of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

Tag and Title Responsibilities:

Process vehicle title transfers and registrations for customers, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Maintain accurate records of titles, registration, and related documentation.

Work closely with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and other state agencies to resolve title and registration issues.

Issue temporary tags, plates, and other documentation as needed.

Verify and ensure that all vehicles are properly documented before delivery to customers.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the dealership, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Help with inventory management, sales tracking, and ordering office supplies.

Supervise and train junior staff, providing support and guidance as needed.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns related to titles, registrations, or dealership operations.

Perform other administrative tasks as directed by the management team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a title clerk, administrative, or automotive dealership role is preferred.

Knowledge of state and federal title and registration regulations.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with dealership management software is a plus.
