Florist / Floral Designer
Location: Arlington, VA (inside a secure government building) Family Business
Hours: 35–40 per week, Monday–Friday
Pay: $20–$25+/hour, depending on experience
Start Date: Position opening shortly after the New Year
About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable, creative florist with design experience to join our team inside a secure federal facility in Arlington, VA. This role involves daily floral design and arrangement work, maintaining displays, and providing friendly customer service. All within a clean, structured environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and create floral arrangements for walk-in customers, events, and recurring orders
Maintain and refresh displays throughout the week
Care for flowers and plants to ensure freshness and quality
Provide helpful, courteous service to customers and staff
Keep work areas organized, clean, and efficient
Requirements:
2–3+ years of floral design experience preferred (retail or event experience also a plus)
Strong sense of color, proportion, and presentation
Professional attitude and reliability a must
Must be able to pass applicable government background checks
U.S. work authorization required
Schedule & Benefits:
Monday–Friday only – weekends off!
Steady 35–40 hours per week
