Role Overview:
As our General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our concept revamp, tasked with hiring, staffing, and training a dedicated team. Your mission will be to ensure our shop runs smoothly, delivering top-notch barbecue sandwiches to customers on the go. You'll oversee all aspects of daily operations, from managing inventory and controlling costs to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment, keeping the team motivated and focused on providing the best in customer service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the revamp of our barbecue sandwich concept to enhance customer experience.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring a high level of team performance and customer service.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Manage inventory, supply orders, and vendor relationships to ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative team environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a quick-service restaurant or fast-paced food service environment.
- Strong passion for Southern comfort food and a commitment to delivering high-quality, delicious food to customers.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building, leading, and motivating effective teams.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced airport environment, managing multiple priorities with a focus on customer service.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- A degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
