Overview:
We are seeking an experienced business analyst with a solid background in consulting and a comfort level/understanding of IT systems architecture, including diagrams, documentation, requirements, and how systems work together The role involves collecting and organizing data and documentation for reviews, interacting with various teams, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards
Responsibilities:
Grasp business concepts and turn them into practical models to simplify decision-making, such as process flows, diagrams, analytical models, requirements lists, business context diagrams process, etc
Analyze technical documents to glean insights on technology, process, and business functions for use in modeling.
Conduct thorough reviews of IT systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and present data-driven insights that support business process improvements
Present findings using effective communication and visualization techniques, aiding informed decision-making.
Leverage analytical thinking to identify and resolve complex data-related problems, working both independently and alongside technical teams.
Must Have Requirements:
US Citizenship
7+ years of experience in a similar role, dealing with a range of business or technical applications.
Bachelor’s degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise is required
Strengths/ Desired Qualifications
Experience working with US federal agencies, understanding their unique processes, and compliance standards.
Experience with data analysis software such as Microsoft PowerBI and PowerAutomate
Analytical and problem-solving skills, skilled in processing large volumes of information to swiftly comprehend key issues in business processes and systems.
Basic understanding of Information Technology domains, including Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Cloud-based Computing (SaaS)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Experience in analysis of ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery data.
Hybrid (Remote 3 days a week, and 1-2 days in the office)
