ECCN Inc. is currently hiring Lead Technicians and/or Technicians in the Northern Virginia area. We are growing fast and need technicians to join our growing business. Driven and motivated candidates needed.
Responsibilities include:
Installation of Electronic Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Parking systems.
Maintenance and Submission of accurate paperwork and documentation.
Customer communication throughout the job.
Installing/pulling cable and wire when required.
Mounting panels, card readers, maglocks, cameras, computers, power supplies etc.
Set up, testing and inspections of installed systems.
Installation of Security Systems, Activation, Programming.
Installations of Camera Surveillance Systems, Access Control, Low Voltage Cabling.
Service and Repair the above-mentioned equipment.
Troubleshooting of access control systems, IP Cameras, PA Systems.
Preparing and communicating accurate and timely reports of completions, issues, reschedules to immediate supervisor(s).
In-depth knowledge of using Multimeters, Testing equipment, Punching down CAT5/6 is required.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
DCJS Registration Electronic Security Technician, Sales, and Locksmith required.
Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material.
Must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb.
The ability to be available for on-call duty and participate in a rotating emergency service schedule.
Excellent attendance, organized, and be able to prioritize tasks assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ Years of field installation experience in the security environment: CCTV, Alarm, Fire and Access Control
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Effective communication and Ticket writing skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
Ability to travel to project locations around the VA/DC/MD area (company provided truck).
