AFS ENTERPRISES, Inc. Is looking for Event Security for a temporary position in safeguarding the Capital Pride Block Party (June 8th, 2024) and Festival (June 9th 2024) while maintaining the safety and compliance of the guests and festival goers. The ideal candidate will be an LGBTQ+ ally, personable, able to maintain composure in a highly stressful environment, along with possessing a high level of observation and communication. Job Responsibilities:
Manage large crowds in a large scale festival environment.
Responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to provide safe environment for guests.
Enforce safety policies and procedures in the area of responsibility to ensure as safe environment for all guests.
Report incidents to management and attempt to de-escalate incidents involving threats or acts of violence against guests.
Job Requirements:
Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Willing to work in a loud environment.
Must be available to work both shifts 8-12 hours each day.
Must be 21 years of age or over.
Pay: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with the pay cap at $20.00 per hour. All employees are W-2 and paid bi-weekly.
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay: Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with the pay cap at $28.00 per hour. All temporary employees are W-2 and will be paid by direct deposit along with our regular staffs pay schedule on June 20th, 2024.
Salary: $20.00-$28.00/hr, bring more skills and get a higher pay rate.
