Seasonal job at Washington DC Christmas Market for Chocoidea

For the Christmas Market in Washington DC, Chocoidea is looking for a passionate and extroverted Sales Representative to join the team.
You will be responsible for welcoming and engaging customers at the stand, promoting products, driving sales, ensuring the stand and product displays are always at their best, and creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere. A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an enthusiastic appreciation for chocolate are a must.
Days of the week and hours (full time or part time — part-time schedule to be agreed upon):
Washington DC Christmas Market runs from November 21st to December 23rd, 2025.
Monday–Thursday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Friday–Saturday: 11 am – 9 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 8 pm
Requirements:
Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong verbal communication skills in English (required) and Italian (preferred)
Previous experience in customer service and/or sales
Food Safety Certification (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the shop (including evening cashing up)
Providing customers with informed, polite, friendly, and high-quality service
Managing POS processes, wrapping and/or boxing chocolate items for customers
Ensuring the stand and chocolate displays are always in top condition and well stocked
Maintaining accurate communication with fellow staff members

Total working hours: 273 (for full time)
$22.00/Hour
Payment: on the last day of the Christmas Market
