At Underground Cuts & Styles we are seeking skilled and experienced Barbers/Stylists to join our team with clientele and license preferred. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to our clients. Your expertise and creativity will contribute to creating unique and personalized looks for each client. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Duties:
- Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services including traditional haircuts, fades, shaves, beard trims, and facial hair grooming
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on hair care and styling products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and hairstyling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards of all tools, equipment, and workstations
- Manage appointments and ensure timely service delivery
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and professional salon environment
Qualifications:
- Valid barber or cosmetology license
- Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist
- Proficient in color theory and application techniques
- Knowledge of various payment options, i.e. cash app, apple pay, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
