As a contracted service provider to a premier luxury community for residents aged 62 and better, Fitness4Everybody is an integral part of the resident engagement team. Our mission is to deliver a vibrant, enjoyable, and fulfilling fitness experience for all residents. The Fitness Center Coordinator will work alongside and learn from some of the best fitness professionals with over 20 years of experience in the industry. This role requires a combination of meticulous attention to detail and an outgoing personality to enhance resident satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Interaction:
Welcome residents to the fitness center with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Provide exceptional customer service, actively engaging residents to ensure a positive experience.
Facility Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked fitness center environment.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and readily available for use. (procedures will be provided)
Orientation and Assessment:
Conduct fitness center orientations and fitness assessments following established protocols.
Introduce residents to strength training equipment and provide guidance on Keiser Strength Training equipment. (instruction will be provided)
Qualifications:
Experience with the fitness center culture in a fitness-related role, OR as a health enthusiast
Personal training experience is helpful, but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to manage and organize the fitness center effectively, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Valid CPR/AED certification is helpful - Fitness4Everybody will pay for the certification for the right employee.
Situational awareness.
A high degree of maturity.
Experience working with older adults is helpful, but not required
Must be fluent in English
Experience conducting fitness assessments and orientations according to established protocols is helpful, but not required …. training will be provided as needed.
Proficiency with various fitness equipment, including strength training machines…. training will be provided as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to engage in physical activity, including lifting and setting up equipment.
Capability to stand, walk, and perform exercises for extended periods.
Work Environment:
A luxury fitness center, interacting regularly with a senior community.
Occasional adjustments to hours may be required based on resident needs and community activities.
Compensation:
Compensation ranges between $17 to $20 per hour based on experience.
Monday through Thursday 7:00AM to 12:00PM
Fridays 2:00PM to 6:00PM
