Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by diagnosing and managing common and complex health conditions, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems (EHR/EMR).

Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification (FNP, AGNP, ANP, etc.) in the state of practice.

Active DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).

BLS and ACLS certification (as required by practice setting).

Proven clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred: [insert specialty, if applicable]).

Credentiale with insurance programs

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of clinical experience in [primary care, family medicine, urgent care, internal medicine, etc.].

Experience working with diverse patient populations.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Epic, Tebra,Cerner or eClinicalWorks.

Work Environment:

Part-time: Mon and Tuesday 9-5pm

Clinic setting.

Location: Alexandria

No weekends or evenings
