What We're Looking For:

We seek an exceptional cleanliness and organization expert who can take our salon to new heights with their unique skills and infectious energy. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, continuously upholds the highest service standards, and never shies away from creating unforgettable experiences for our esteemed members.

Job Types: Full-time; Part-time (evenings, weekends, holidays). Flex schedule.

Pay: $12 - $20 (depending on experience and ability to deliver)

Responsibilities:

Ability to proactively support the hand and foot staff (pull bowls at the right time, flip hand and foot workstations, check on hot towels, TVs, Bluetooth headphones, etc.)

Ability to proactively support the cut and shave staff (sweep, pick up soiled towels, pull trays, restock hot and cold towels, service towels, clean wax cart, notice anything dirty or out of place, and resolve it, etc.)

Keep a clutter-free, tidy, and wiped-down front desk area

Own the cleanliness and organization of the shop and its supplies

Ensure a place for everything and keep everything in its place

Own, direct, and participate in rotational and routine deep cleaning of every part of the shop

Maintain the cleanliness of the floors and stations in the shop

Perform basic and advanced custodial services

Stock all beverages in coolers and backstock (first-in-first-out)

Ensure an adequate supply of all service, hot, and cold towels; launder capes, towels, aprons, etc.

Offer, replenish, and clear drinks; handle glassware

Run errands as needed

Conduct a walk-through of the shop at least three times per hour checking on any service supplies that may have been depleted

Clean and maintain the organization of all of our retail shelves

Ensure at the end of the night that all trash receptacles and recycling items are disposed of correctly

No less than once per week, remove all portable items from our back room and thoroughly mop the entire area

Dust and wipe down all surfaces (be mindful of fingerprints on doors, dust on blinds and ledges, and oil on surfaces, etc.)

Understand your strengths and opportunities; own your mistakes and proactively seek to learn from them

Support/maintain shop sanitization/health standards to include deep cleaning, disinfecting, sterilization, etc., of all workstations and tools

Understand our menu of services in detail, explain club options

Always proactively work to keep the entire shop clean and operating well

Thoroughly read through at least 3 Mystery Shop reports (one per shop)

Expected to support all locations (Reston, Leesburg, or Gainesville) as needed

You own the cleanliness and organization of the shop including the expectations of how your co-workers participate in maintaining the standard you have set. Be prepared to direct all cleanliness and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications:

Passion, dedication, and a customer-centric attitude are more important than formal qualifications. However, the following skills will make you an ideal fit:

Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, with a track record of delivering exceptional service.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and requests efficiently.

A genuine passion for providing personalized and attentive service to enhance the overall member experience.

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing needs of members.

Professional appearance and demeanor, representing the high standards of our establishment.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
