We are currently seeking a Technician for our Beltsville, MD office. Benefits include: competitive salary, medical, dental and paid vacation.
JOB SUMMARY: In this role you will spend your time configuring, delivering, installing and supporting a wide array of technology equipment. Technical work is staged at our office and installed at various customer locations throughout the DC metropolitan areas. Some air travel may be required for out-of-town work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configure, test and deploy equipment including software
Ability to setup and support wired and wireless networks
Effectively interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers
Ability to identify urgency and set priorities to be able to respond to meet customer needs and established company objectives
Provide technical support as needed
Ability to lift or push up to 75lbs
Comfortable driving larger vans & 16’ box trucks throughout the metro area
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2+ years of computer hardware / AV experience
Must be willing and able to work paid overtime with little or no notice to meet customer requirements (evenings or weekends)
Age 21 or older.
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards.
Excellent communication skills.
