Field Technology Specialists Position
Paid Certification Training Class
After training is complete you will then be on a day, week or month long projects depending on your availability.
The scope of work will consist of troubleshooting, replacing and repairing proprietary customer-based technology. You will have access to an SOP which will outline how to begin and finish any scope of work that is requested. The steps of work flow will be as follows; review the scope of work, identify any questions with the SOW, accessing the associated SOP which is attached to the SOW, once on site, checking into the ticket so dispatch is aware of your arrival, updating the ticket throughout the duration of the ticket, providing a final update before finally checking out of the ticket within the ticketing system.
Tools will include basic hand tools needed for any low voltage cabling work.
Requirements -
- Laptop Required (Chrome Books have had issues with accessing training)
- Candidate must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to worksites
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Basic hand tool knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
