Lead onsite support for project execution and monitoring of WebTAS, managing production database systems and server software deployments, and system change management.
Conduct SQL performance tuning and process inspections to identify system bottlenecks and implement solutions. Procure commercial aviation data sources annually and integrate them into the database.
Collaborate with analysts to solve real-time problems using data modeling, visualization, reporting, intelligence production, predictive analytics, and data sharing.
Coordinate with system administrators on architectural decisions for storage, server, and network solutions.
Implement security account management and information assurance practices, emphasizing mandatory access controls, authentication, auditing, and monitoring.
Coordinate backlog refinement, story definition, execution, and acceptance for a GOTS software system.
Manage coordination of infrastructure, database, and cloud transition projects, while facilitating data load automation and data fusion efforts.
Create and execute onsite standard operating procedures for staging, pre-processing, transferring across security domains, importing, post-processing, updating indices, and verifying aviation data sources into the database.
Manage and enhance the WebTAS system, optimize data, transition querying and visualization functions to a web-based cloud environment, identify analytics for migration to GOTS database software, conduct database management tasks including cross-correlating data from multiple sources, administer user profiles ensuring secure access, integrate purchased data into the Core Data Framework, monitor and address/correct data quality issues during data ingest processes, integrate enhanced data sources, securely transmit non-classified data over NIPRNet, optimize the database information model, develop custom data display reports, and establish processes for search and retrieval enhancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree - Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+years; advanced degree preferred.
Must Have – TS/SCI
Strongly Preferred - WebTAS experience
Experience in managing and optimizing database systems
Proficiency in database management systems and cloud computing.
Experience with data aggregation, visualization, and query optimization.
Strong understanding of data security protocols.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Prior experience in aviation data management or related fields is preferred
