A well established, busy, high volume full service Midas Auto Service &; Tire Center facility located at 10834 FAIRFAX BOULEVARD in FAIRFAX, VA is looking for a Automotive Service Writer/Adviser/Tech who can be fully trained to deliver top-notch customer service, write up all estimates, including all maintenance not done after verifying on Carfax, Fleet estimates, etc. to sustain a robust selling opportunity by educating our customer about the items needing service to restore their vehicles to perform reliably. Additionally, the opportunity to service vehicles and accumulate compensation as a technician if time permits. This opportunity to have a dual role can only be achieved if your abilities are demonstrated to handle this dual role position so that the Service Writer capabilities are not hindered. We are looking for a person who can meet/greet customers, discuss all aspects of the customer's concerns with regard to their vehicles service needs. Learn all aspects of working behind the service counter, from entering customer information to writing full service estimates. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems along with the capacity to continually learn about new technologies . Will need to have basic computer skills. Must possess effective, and understanding abilities regarding explaining the findings and solutions to accommodate the customer service concerns as a Service Writer.
