YC Electric is Seeking full time experienced electrical mechanics and electrical helpers for work in MD/DC/VA Area mostly in MD/DC. Must have at least 1 year experience (preferred) as a electrical helper or 3 years experience as an electrical mechanic. Must be able to fill out daily service tickets, keep a clean, stocked van and have a great working attitude. Valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation required for all positions. Must have your own hand tools.
Electrical duties include:
Performing electrical demo of existing electrical equipment
Electrical wiring of new service and new branch circuitry
Installing new equipment, conduit, outlets, fixtures etc.
Terminating new panels, circuit breakers, service disconnects, transformers, etc.
Knowledge of current NEC codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
