You must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record

You must have CFC certification (or be ready to pass the test - on site testing available)
You must have standard HVAC hand-tools, meters, guages, scales and leak detector (or be ready to buy them)
You must know how to use e-mail and text on a smart phone
