We are looking for a qualified individual to work as a crew member on a variety of residential insulation projects throughout Northern Virginia. This is a position for an experienced or entry level self-motivated service professional to work as a Weatherization Technician installing a variety of energy saving products including, but not limited to blown-in insulation, rolled/batt insulation, spray foam insulation, radiant barriers and vapor barriers. Experience with carpentry, drywall, gutters, siding, HVAC and small engines is a plus. A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and good communication skills are required.
The position is physically demanding. Candidates must be able to climb and work off of ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and be able to work in confined spaces. The work is dirty and typically takes place in unconditioned attics and crawl spaces of existing homes. For safety reasons, candidates must meet physical requirements.
