Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced professionals or crews to join our team on a subcontractor basis. We are looking for a dependable and skilled Handyman with expertise in drywall repair and painting to join our team or work on a per-project basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced in patching, hanging, finishing, and texturing drywall, along with interior and exterior painting. This role requires a strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism in both residential and light commercial settings.

Responsibilities:

Perform drywall hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.

Repair holes, cracks, water damage, and other drywall imperfections.

Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, priming, and masking.

Match existing textures and paint colors as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Communicate clearly with clients or site supervisors about work scope and timelines.

Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.

Provide own tools and transportation (if required).

Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience in drywall repair and painting.

Strong knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and drywall textures.

Proficient in prepping, cutting, mixing, and matching materials.

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (if travel is involved).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with water damage restoration or popcorn ceiling removal.

General handyman skills (e.g., trim, minor carpentry, caulking, fixture replacements).

EPA Lead-Safe Certification (for older homes).

Working Conditions:

Work environments include occupied residences, vacant homes, commercial units, and exterior spaces.

Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
