Small company looking for knife and tool sharpener. Currently we operate as a vendor in several farmers markets throughout the DMV area. We sharpen knives, scissors, gardern tools, mower blades and axes among other things.Must be available at least one weekend morning every other week.
Those with extensive experience sharpening knives on a belt grinder or on a whetstone are highly sought after for this position and we offer a starting pay of $38 per hour.
Culinary school graduates as well as anyone with previous back of house experience in a high volume restaurant, or applicants who haveprevious experience ina skilled or semi skilled tradeare also highly encouraged to apply(bike mechanics, picture framers, etc.).
Almost all of our markets are eitheron the weekend mornings or midweekevenings making this an ideal opportunity for stay at home parents or students.
