We're currently looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in a role as a Lead Diagnostic Technician and Shop Manager.

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced automotive technician who excels at diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using advanced scanning tools and hands-on inspections. This role also includes shop management responsibilities—overseeing daily operations, coordinating workflow, and ensuring top-quality service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Duties:

Perform accurate diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools

Inspect vehicles based on customer concerns and standard procedures

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues

Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnoses

Recommend and explain repair solutions to service advisors or customers

Assist other technicians with complex diagnostics and problem-solving

2. Managerial Duties:

Supervise and support other technicians in the shop

Manage daily workflow and job assignments

Ensure quality control and timely job completion

Coordinate with front desk/service writers for parts and customer communication

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Help manage inventory and tool maintenance

Promote a team-oriented, customer-focused culture

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an automotive technician (diagnostic experience required)

Strong understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and OEM software

Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills

Ability to communicate clearly with team and customers

ASE certifications preferred (not required)
