Job Description:Foster Remodeling Solutions (FRS) is currently seeking a Lead Carpenter for a position offering long-term stability and comprehensive benefits. Job Duties:
-Manage assigned residential remodels, overseeing projects from foundations to punch list items, including additions,
whole house remodels, in-law suites, 2nd story additions (pop-top), garages, porches, and sunrooms.
-Coordinate and manage the complete remodeling project, including inspections, subcontractors, and support staff,
ensuring a smooth process, client satisfaction, and staying within budget.
-Layout and install material in all phases of construction per contract and plans.
-Meet construction deadlines with minimal supervision.
-Read and interpret plans/blueprints, translating them into the built project.
-Perform carpentry labor on projects, i.e., demolition, framing, drywall, trim work, cabinetry, tile, accessories, etc.
-Schedule & manage subcontractors, inspections, and order materials for job.
-Adhere to company construction standards and city/county building codes.
-Cultivate trusting relationships with clients through clear communication throughout the remodeling project.
-Maintain a clean and safe job site, leaving it "broom clean" daily.
-Lead and mentor crews & apprentice carpenters.
Required Skills:
-Extensive knowledge and experience in residential building, carpentry methods, and techniques.
-Minimum of 10years lead carpentry/project manager experience.
-Familiarity with city/county building code standards.
-Excellent carpentry, project management, and multi-tasking skills.
-Ability to lead and mentor apprentice carpenters.
-Proficient in overseeing, managing, and scheduling subcontractors and suppliers.
-Detail-oriented, self-starter who consistently meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
-Capability to manage projects while performing carpentry duties.
-Physical stamina for climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
-Ability to lift 80lbs or more.
-Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
-Possession of personal tools and equipment.
-Fluent English proficiency for safe and effective performance on assigned remodeling projects.
-High school diploma or GED.
DesirableSkills:
-General contractor's license (current or past).
-Lead Safe Certification or other industry-related certifications.
-Trade/carpentry school background.
-Bi-lingual abilities (helpful, but not required).
-Background in residential electrical and plumbing.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
