Superior Trucking Corp has an immediate opening for a Trucking Foreman to assist the Trucking General Manager with supervising up to 60 drivers in all facets of Superior’s trucking operations. Responsibilities include training employees, directing daily work activity, checking equipment, and championing/leading safety policies and procedures. Qualified candidates will have previous supervisory experience, be detail-oriented, have a CDL, be proficient in MS Office Suite, and have the ability to work night/weekend shifts as needed. Other responsibilities include:
Tour work sites, check the quality of work, and detect insufficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Communicate, manage, and measure employee performance.
Inspect and report equipment repairs to the shop, as they become known.
Support and maintain all Company policies including safety, EEO, AA, and Drug Free Workplace policies.
Measure, verify, and comply with all company and governmental environmental, safety, and health policies and regulations in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Safety Department.
Fill-in and assist the dispatcher as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
