I am a writing tutor who specializes in working with English as a Second Language Students (TEFL certified) and Students with Disabilities. I have expertise in big-picture thinking and am looking for clients who need resources regarding essays, creative projects, personal statements, and language acquisition. With a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado I find particular joy in workshopping creative projects.
My background includes work in the writing studio at Maryland Institute College of Art, and professional development and marketing roles. I have experience outside the field of writing in wilderness experiential education, hospitality, and architecture. I bring the philosophies from these paths into my work as a tutor to provide a holistic experience of getting to know my client and drawing out their best, most authentic work. My current client list is made up of artists, students, parents, and senior creatives.
