(IMSG), a science and technical services company supporting the U.S. Federal Government, is seeking a Science Writer and Social Media Specialist to join our team supporting NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) in Silver Spring, Maryland.
This position is within the NOAA Environmental Visualization Laboratory, a team with diverse expertise, including media communications, graphic design, education, computer programming and systems engineering.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will provide communications support as part of the NESDIS Headquarters Communications Team, crafting engaging website and multimedia content as well as managing social media to communicate the environmental science and technology work at NESDIS.
