Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly (Based on experience) OPS - 40 hours per week Driver’s License: Not Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Years of Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work AND three (3) years of experience as a Child Protective Investigator (CPI) and Case Manager (CM) in Florida. What you will do: The Office of Quality and Innovation serves as the catalyst for ensuring high levels of performance across the state to support a strong workforce and positive outcomes for Florida families. The office seeks collaborative, action-focused, and transparent professionals dedicated to putting quality at the center of serving families. This is independent and complex administrative and consultative work providing operational and management coordination in the Office of Workforce Learning and Development. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:

Reviews/creates administrative policies, procedures, guidelines and related directives to be implemented; evaluates impact on operations; identifies potential problems; recommends appropriate action related to learning and development.

Identifies statewide operational problems in the implementation of administrative services policies and procedures or program policies and procedures related to Learning and Development.

Investigates, assesses, analyzes and makes recommendations to resolve issues and problems presented by administrators.

Performs firsthand analysis of operational problems of service programs; serves on interdisciplinary staff teams to develop optimum resolutions; carries out the implementation of solutions.

Consults with staff members to develop solutions for programmatic operational problems.

Processes a variety of routine correspondence, investigates subject matter and prepares replies.

Reviews records and reports which require action and recommends solutions or courses of action.

Performs special assignments, research, and report preparation.

Performs fiscal, purchasing, statistical, reporting, and other major office functions.

Represents supervisor at meetings to furnish or obtain information.

Assists in conducting daily administrative activities and/or directing special projects or activities.

Assists in preparing decision papers.

Provides input and recommendations for budget.

Reviews and coordinates implementation of statutes, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to Learning and Development

Performs related work as required.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of professional experience in social services.

Three years of experience as Florida Child Protective Investigations or Case Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.

Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.

Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.

Ability to conduct fact-finding research.

Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Knowledge of the Florida Child Welfare System.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
