Work Hours/Shift:
Full-Time, Monday – Friday
You Will Be Responsible For:
Provides team guidance and oversight. Leads team members in complex problem analysis and issue resolution. Provides technical guidance and oversight. Mentors team members on best practices, standards, and technology. Recommends improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team and the infrastructure.
Performs monitoring, alerting, reporting, and trending. Monitors and assists with the proactive identification and resolution of problems. Assists with the collection of data and establishing facts in order to determine the cause of these problems.
Performs preventative maintenance while providing maximum availability. This includes patching, updates, and/or configuration changes.
Participates in the change control process, as required.
Performs advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent years of experience in system administration/system engineering
Five years of systems engineering experience in a work environment
Experience supporting a complex environment, with multiple locations and rapidly changing operational and technology changes
Experience comprehending technical manuals and instructions
Experience writing technical specifications and creating designs
If Server:
Server+ (or above) certification
If Imaging:
PACS Certification, such as CPAS, CIIP, or related
Microsoft Certification such as MCP, MCSE, or MCSA
Job Summary:The Senior Systems Engineer designs, installs, configures, implements, and supports all aspects of the software environment and/or manages and provides technical guidance and oversight for all aspects of the software process, acting as a point of escalation and technical expert. Mentors team members.
